I'm not going to write about Game 6. I refuse!
My prediction for these Finals was wrecked by Hamilton running all over the floor and away from Bowen, Billups contesting for the Finals MVP and 'Sheed playing clutch with 5 fouls. Duncan again disappeared for almost a 12-minute stretch spanning the 3rd and 4th quarters. This time, there was no Horry or Ginobli to save his butt! Great as he is--and I do think he's the greatest Power Forward ever as well as the greatest player in the game today--he has to take over. Enough with the understated, controlled, good-guy. This is your house Timmy. You can't let someone walk in and take games off you. Duncan now has to show that he can win without David Robinson by his side.
Kudos to Larry Brown though. He had his charges ready to run out of the blocks.
"San Antonio Parade is Scheduled for Thursday!!" That's what the board in the visitors dreassing room said before the game. The Pistons made sure that instead of parading down the streets of San Antonio, the Spurs will be playing for their legacy. As will the Pistons.
In the first game 7 for the Spurs and Duncan, will they be able to beat the Pistons who have twice before come back from 3-2 down in a series? With these Pistons, you just don't ever know. I'm taking bets if anyone's interested!
Great article by Scoop Jackson here, by the way, on Tim Duncan. A great read. I love Scoop!

same here! Spurs have been my team since after Jordan's retirement and the break-up of the Bulls in '98. That was really the first time i encountered any other team. guess jordan was bigger than team basketball. after him, i needed a new team to support and the Spurs were it!
