It's been a lazy, lathargic week. Turned boiling hot around Thursday and caused all pretentions of summer partying to evaporate. The 'fish' plans had been postponed due to lack of financial resources as well as a general lack of motivation and I found myself spending most of my time sleeping or watching Coupling. Coupling is by far the funniest British comedy I've ever seen. To surpass Fawlty Towers and 'Allo 'Allo is no easy feat, but this show is better than Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em and Blackaddar. Every possible sexual innuendo is now played out in my head in Jeff's voice. Breast-Octopus is a real word.

Caught up on a lot of sleep as well. Sleep is good fun.

The night sky is impossible to see at LUMS now that the administration has decided that putting up lights on every tree on campus will somehow enhance campus security. It's not like the couples on campus ever sat in trees. But then with people here you never really know. In making LUMS makeout-proof, they seem to have neglected that some foolish blokes like to keep their eyes on the stars in heaven. Sad it is.

Today, Artemis did Apollo's job. The Goddess of the Wild and the Rising Moon, pulled the sun into the morning sky the way Apollo does with his Golden Chariot everyday. In Greek mythology, Apollo and Artemis are the twin children of Zeus and Leto. Apollo rides a Golden Chariot that pulls the sun through the sky each day. His sister Artemis does the same job with the Moon on a Silver Chariot.
