Why can't all relationships be black and white.? Why can't we just put a label onto a relationship and expect, with almost a certainty and conviction, that the label will stay the same till whenever we see convenient to remove that particular label and replace it with something more appropriate for that time? Why must we necessarily demand that all relationships be dynamic and ever-evolving? What's wrong with having a relationship defined a certain, static way for a pre-defined period of time after which we can consider a redefinition and the attaching of a new, more appropriate label?

Why so much grey?!

dear god...i'll second the motion. absolute labels would be so much easier.

but you know what, absolute labels would also make life boring! the randomness of human relationships made perfect sense to me a while after i wrote these lines. strange how a moment of clarity can make up for huge periods of doubt! =D

i'm a happy man again!
