For all those who're concerned by my disappearance over the last 10 days (i'm sure there's atleast 1 such person out there) I regret to inform you that due to the paleolithic age and nature of the system at which I sit right now, regular updates on my terribly exciting and exhilirating life in Karachi will have to wait till a more advanced system may be acquired on which to work. Such a system was introduced into the domestic environment recently. However, it is tragically noted that the demise of the said system was quick and brutal at the hands of the unfriendly surroundings. (Voltage fluctuation blew out my brother's P4 after barely 30 minutes of running. He is still in mourning)

As for the "terribly exiting and exhilirating life in Karachi", there isn't much of it. Unless you happen to count my selfless attempts at rescuing a fish and a family of prawns from a sad departure from this world. With their homes being threatened by the biannual cleaning of the underground water-tank, these little critters were under severe threat until I rode to the rescue by providing an alternate, albiet much smaller, living facility. It may not be the ocean, but the balti is blue!

Family GT on saturday. Total blast. It's events like this that remind me why I'm so crazy about my family. Which reminds me: Puppoo pass ho gaya! Kuch meetha ho jaye? My cousin's cleared his Metric exams. A-Grade I'm told. Last kid in the family to do so. Paisay Puppoo dai ga!

Oh and I'm still pretty much Carom champion amongst my cousins. Taha and Shabeeb Bhai are good but I edge them out a little bit. Still not as good as Azfar Chacha, Papa or Phuppa Sahib. Don't think I'll ever be that good because I don't play often enough.

Finally, I hate dial-ups!
