1^st day of quarter. Hopefully my last 1^st-day-of-quarter at LUMS.

Concert last night was decent. Had fun setting it all up with a bunch of boys. Kala was missing for most of it--ostensibly he had a migraine attack. HE showed up and kicked ass later in the evening. Ammar Chota, Theesa, Shibli, Ammar Freshi, Zero, Saif, Ibad, Sibti and a smattering of other faces which weren't around when I first showed up at this university eons ago. Some of these people I've come to think of as younger brothers in a way. Most of them are people I would like to stay in touch with. All of them are people I wouldn't mind bumping into years from now at some random spot in the universe.

Shibli was awesom throughout the concert--minor mistakes and excessive shodapun not withstanding. The whole deal went off decently well, though typically late as all concerts are. Hub got into a bit of a fracas with some outsider boy. Nothing major. No casualties unless you count the ripped collar on hub's T.

The day ended with Shibli bringing down the house with Johnny B. Good and Shibli, Saif, Salman and the 2 Ammars rocking it with Watchtower and Metallica's I Disappear and For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Now it's back to work. Anotehr 3 month of monotonous drudgery. There's some out there who envy me being back here. Let me remind you, fun as this might be, you're just as bored here as you are where you're at right now!
