someone once told me learning correct grammar and punctuation is a step towards becoming a successful proficient writer i was informed that if i could master the commas periods colons semicolons and quotation marks i would be able to become proficient in the art of writing also understanding correct grammatical structuring was required to even become accepted as a writer of any sort somehow im sure the wonderful person who handed down this sound advice was a master at utilizing the nuances of punctuation and grammar and must have had a brilliant career as editor and proofreader unfortunately for this wellmeaning soul im a horrible student and i refuse to learn from others that which i consider useless to begin with in actuality as i have mentioned before in some random ramblings that i have had the pleasure of putting down on paper i am not bound by rules and conventions and not constrained by what people consider to be the norm i refuse to accept the opinions of other people regarding my writing because writing provides me release from the tensions of the world around me which is why i will decide how i choose to write and what rules i decide to follow in my writing the rules i accept are those of spelling this is done more for the sake of expedience then any other consideration i wouldn’t want to make it absolutely impossible for my readers to understand what im saying however i refuse to abide by the manmade rules and regulations governing grammar because i do believe that these have only been put into place to enforce the will of some unknown dogmatic grammatical entity whose soul aim is to push writing into the domain of the few and take it out of the hands of the common man by complicating the process to such an extent that no mere mortal can ever understand the intricacies enforced onto grammatical sentence construction and thereby be able to construct infallibly punctuated and invariably correct sentences which are socalled correct in their construction yet again i say i refuse i just will not i refuse to bend why should i conform to someone elses rules i will run on and i will dangle my modifiers and i will splice my nonexistent commas write in fragments i will do all of this this is my way of making an actual mental exercise rather than just a casual process that we undertake to pass time of reading my name is saad akhtar and i am not constrained by rules and conventions

-whoever told you the above needs a good smacking.
I agree completely but he's older, and also kinda feminine. Don't feel right in hitting such people. Also he was my teacher
