This got me thinking some.

I really don't get why women need to crib so much about their men, or men in general, not understanding them and not caring for the 'finer' things in life. Women talk of how men don't give them respect for who they are and how they're not appreciated for their intelligence. They have issues with being judged by the way they look and demand that men show 'decency' by looking past the exterior and appreciate a woman for what's inside her: intelligent, strength, sensitivity, etc.

I don't mind being told sometimes that men are insensitive and uncaring and superficial enough only to care about how a woman looks and how big her tits are. I don't mind being reminded of the state of all men and their general disregard for women's emotional needs. It's the constant harping that gets to me.

Really, do you hear men go on and on and on always about how their women don't give them enough sex? Do men ever complain of how their girlfriends or wives don't have big enough tits?! Do men crib about the growing size of their woman's ass with the progress of time? They'll give a few comments here and there. They'll maybe lay it out a bit more explicitly after a few beers. And on those nights out with the boys, they'll all sit and dream of getting those big-breasted, curvaceous, luscious, sex-bombs that all men really want. These complaints however are never perpetual and constant.

I come across so many females these days who want a nice, decent guy who they can talk to and who'll be smart and sexy and sensitive and understanding. They want men who'll bring them flowers and hold doors. They expect courtesy and chivalry. These are women who've grown up reading trashy romances and have been corrupted by the Brontë sisters!

If a man were to write a book about how he fell for the perfect woman, he'd talk about how she was exactly like his mother except a million times hotter. For flowers and opening doors, men would demand boob-jobs and kinky sex. Courtesy and chivalry would be traded in for bringing home a female friend for animpromptuu threesome. This piece of literature, however, will forever be labeled soft-porn instead of a 'romance novel'.

Best of all, what women don't seem to understand at all is that what's most important to them--feelings, emotions, caring, sensitivity--is not even within the realm of masculine understanding simply because men have evolved to the point where they realize the importance of the superficial and comprehend the shallowness of the implausible demands for sensitivity and caring. What's the point of appreciating a woman's intellectual capabilities if you're not willing to get into bed with her 'cause she's shit ugly? What's intelligence worth when you're the size of a blue whale?

I'm sick to death of all you females demanding perfection in your men. When you look like supermodels you'll find a nice, good-looking, caring, loving, affectionate, understanding man who'll look after your every need and give you respect. Till then, shut the hell up!

reen: i've talked to a number of girls who're constantly just complaining about a general lack of 'decent' guys!

o-c: men aren't this vocal coz they don't get a chance. women won't stop with their cribbing!

natasha: men don't complain half as often as women do!
