I have an urge. A very strong desire maybe. Possibly an obsession. To plunge myself into a deep, dark chasm with jagged out-croppings. I will rise out of this body that binds me--nay, break free of it--and watch it fall, bouncing off every rock and crag on its way to being splattered against the bed of this canyon.

There's a scene in Titanic where the ship splits and one part is completely vertical. In the background of The Wuss and The Fat Woman, a fall loses his hold and slips off and falls wayyyyyy down. He hits the railing of the deck, bounce off and falls through the rotors. Every time I've seen that (I swear it was perpetually on TV once) I've imagined myself being the one performing the Great Sky Dive to Death.

Which reminds me, a friend's nick on MSN reads, "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you."

=)
